Solid Brass Wall Hooks

A wall hook is one of the most functional objects in a home. It does one job — hold things up — and does it in one of the most visible locations in any room. Our solid brass wall hooks are designed to do that job properly: strong enough to hold what needs holding, made from a material that belongs in the home, and designed to last as long as the wall they are fixed to.

Where to Use Brass Wall Hooks

• Hallways and entrances — for coats, bags, dog leads, and keys. The hallway hook is the first and last thing you interact with every day — it is worth making it something you like looking at.
• Kitchens — for aprons, oven gloves, tea towels, and utensils. Brass is a natural fit with the warmth of a working kitchen, particularly alongside timber cabinets, stone worktops, and painted units.
• Bathrooms — for towels, robes, and clothing. Lacquered hooks hold their finish in humid environments; unlacquered hooks develop a patina in bathroom conditions that many find extremely attractive.
• Bedrooms and dressing rooms — for robes, bags, belts, and clothing. A row of solid brass hooks makes a dressing room feel properly finished.
• Home offices and utility rooms — for bags, aprons, headphones, and the daily accumulation of things that need a specific place to live.

Single Hooks and Hook Rows

Our collection includes both single hooks and multi-hook bars — allowing you to create the right configuration for your space. A single hook works as a standalone feature point; a row of three or four hooks creates a proper coat and bag station for a hallway or kitchen. We recommend spacing individual hooks approximately 120 to 150mm apart when fitting in a row for a balanced, practical result.

Why Solid Brass for Wall Hooks?

The most common alternative to solid brass hooks is plated zinc or steel — lighter, cheaper, and finished to look like brass from a distance. Up close and over time, the difference is obvious. Plating chips. Zinc castings feel lightweight and insubstantial. Solid brass hooks feel right immediately and look better every year. The material has genuine weight, and the finish — whether lacquered or unlacquered — is the actual surface of the metal, not a coating over something cheaper underneath.

Fitting and Installation

All of our wall hooks include the fixings required for installation. Most hooks can be fitted with two screws into a wall plug in plasterboard or masonry. For hooks carrying heavier loads, we recommend fixing into masonry or timber studs rather than plasterboard.
